IRACON includes four Working Groups specifically dedicated to experimental research. While one of them was active already in IC1004, three represent the heritage of the former Network of Excellence Newcom#, which founded EuWIn, the European Laboratory of Wireless Communications for the future Internet. EuWIn is revitalized through IRACON, it intends to provide an initial set of lab facilities open to all IRACON members, and is willing to extend its spirit and set of competences by extending the range of sites and experimental facilities made available.
