Applications are sought from highly talented Engineers with experience in the field of RF systems and circuit design to join the Communication Systems and Networks (CSN) research group at the University of Bristol.

A unique opportunity exists for a researcher to join the CSN group in an EPSRC funded position working on the development and characterization of novel tuneable RF transceiver architectures utilizing self-interference (SI) cancellation for frequency division duplexing and in-band full-duplex. Bristol’s track record in this field spans the conception, simulation, prototyping, and field testing of full-duplex transceivers. Ongoing research activities seek to develop further transceiver architectures, algorithms, and enhancements, as well as characterising and modelling the performance of these systems for use in network simulations.

This position is being offered on a full time, open-ended contract with funding up to 31 March 2020.

For informal enquiries, please contact Mark Beach, Professor of Radio Systems Engineering, M.A.Beach@bristol.ac.uk
